“a shoe-in for Oberon’s raucous, challenging, crowd-pleasing programming” -DigBoston

Cyclops is an interactive performance event based on the only Greek satyr play to survive antiquity. It uses the comic-burlesque tale from Homer’s Odyssey as adapted by Euripides for its base, and expands the world beyond the text itself, incorporating a modern Dionysia inspired by contemporary club culture.

The show amassed its cult following first as a student production at Emerson College in Boston, and went on to a sold-out run at Oberon, a fully-functional nightclub and the second stage of the American Repertory Theater.

September 2014 - Oberon/A.R.T

October 2013 - Oberon/A.R.T (workshop)

November 2012 - Emerson College (workshop)
